Technical Visit of Dongjiang Water Supply Facilities to Hong Kong
技術參觀 - 東江水供港設施
DATE : 28-29 November 2025 (Friday and Saturday)
TIME : 8:45 a.m. – 5:30 p.m., (Dongjiang visit)
VENUE : Visit Dongjiang water supplies facilities and scenes from Huizhou, Dongguan and Shenzhen

LOCATION: Lo Wo Port (Mainland side ground exit)

NO. of PARTICIPANTS : 30 Seats are available for application. Priority is given to people who are members of the HKIWSS and supporting organizations’ members and LP
FEE : HK$1000 is for HKIWSS members, supporting organizations’ members and
HK$ 1200 is for non-member.

Programme Highlight :
Dongjiang Water Supply is a national construction and facility which is built for 60 years. The facility is very important to Hong Kong and it proves an indispensable support and care from motherland. Moreover, we will visit Dongjiang museum which keeps valuable cultural relics for the national projects. Tentative technical visit schedule (東江供水技術參觀行程) is listed as below:
1. 11月28日上午參觀惠州東江綠道(約1小時)
2. 28日下午參觀東莞橋頭鎮太園泵站(約2 小時)
3. 29日上午 參觀東莞塘廈東江供水展覽館 (約1.5 小時)
4. 深圳水庫 沙灣河治理(約1.5 小時)
5. 博羅東江邊(東江糧倉)

Insurance :
The activity is a technical visit with travel agent (麗怡旅遊) , the agent will buy insurance required by government. For more other insurance, applicants can buy them for their needs. HKIWSS is not responsible for their insurance. Once applicants start the tour, they should take responsibility for themselves when who do not follow the guidance of the travel agent.
Certificate：
6 hours CPD certificate will be issued to participants after the completion of the workshop.

Notes :
⚫ 交通- 全程空調大巴,由羅湖口岸出發 (28日上午8:45時集合, 9時出發, 回程29日下午約5:30時羅湖口岸散隊)
⚫ 參加者需持有有效旅遊證件,例如港澳居民來往內地通行證 (最少半年有效),付費時請提供副本 ( 只露名字及号碼部份作檢阅)。
⚫ 住宿雙人房 -東莞半島酒店或同級, 假如更改單人房, 需要補價錢 HKD $150 /每位 。
⚫ 麗怡旅遊(牌照號碼354286) 協辦這次活動。團費已包括小費, 及購買平安保險港幣 10 萬元及外遊印花稅。另外「香港旅遊業議會」建議旅客, 如有需要出發前購買旅遊綜合保險。
⚫ 團員於出發前因任何事故而取消，按自動放棄處理，團費恕不發還。

Applications will be accepted on a first come first served basis – HKIWSS member and supporting orgranizations’ members have higher priority. Please reply at 12:00 p.m. on or before the closing date 12 November, 2025 (Wednesday). Successful applicants will be confirmed by WhatsApp or email on or before 14 November, 2025 (Friday) and the accepted applicants should pay related fee to confirm the seat on or before 18 November , 2025 (Tuesday).

CPD Certificate will be provided after the completion of the workshop via WhatsApp or email, receipt of payment is also attached.
Note for Registration:
1. Duly completed application form accompanied by payment receipt (mark with the applicant’s name if applicable) together with the copy of membership card, email to info@hkiwss.org / WhatsApp
2. Registration fee is non-refundable, non-transferable.
3. An official receipt will be distributed to the registrant only upon payment via email.
4. Unsuccessful applicants will be given refund of registration fee even they have already paid.
5. The event will be cancelled when the typhoon signal No. 8 or above, or black storm warning is hoisted 3 hours before the seminar commences.
6. Information provided will be kept strictly confidential and will not be sold, reused, rented, loaned, or disclosed to third party.
