Technical Visit for Potable Treatment Plant, Smart Water Management Laboratory and Valve factory in Foshan
佛山技術參觀 - 佛山水廠, 智慧供水管理實驗室及水掣製造工廠
DATE : 31 October – 1 November 2025 (Friday and Saturday)
TIME : 8:45 a.m. – 5:30 p.m., (Foshan visit)
VENUE : Water treatment plant, valve factory and smart water management test rigs in Foshan
ASSEMBLY
LOCATION: Registration is at 8:45 am on 31 October (Friday) and 9:00 am will depart.
Meeting point is at Exit gate No. 2 of Futian Port, Shenzhen
NO. of PARTICIPANTS : 30 Seats are available for application. Priority is given to people who are members of the HKIWSS and supporting organizations’ members and LP
FEE : HK$700 is for HKIWSS members, supporting organizations’ members and full time students with related disciplines.
HK$ 900 is for non-member.

Programme Highlight :
FOSHAN is a well-developed city and there are many esteemed water services stakeholders. They include large potable water treatment plants, valve factories and test rig for smart water management. Moreover, we will study living matters in Foshan. Tentative technical visit schedule (佛山技術參觀行程) is listed as below:
1. 參觀佛山食水處理廠(每日生產量150噸, 參觀約2小時)
2. 參觀佛山水掣製造廠(交流會及參觀, 約2小時)
3. 參觀智慧供水管理研發設施實驗室(交流會及參觀, 1小時)
4. 參觀九江雙蒸博物館 (約1小時)
5. 遊覽廣東千古情景區及在佛山享受美食
Insurance :
The activity is a technical visit, making sure insurance is made by applicants themselves. HKIWSS is not responsible for the insurance. Applicants depart from the tour should take responsibility by themselves.
Certificate：
6 hours CPD certificate will be issued to participants after the completion of the workshop.

Notes :
⚫ 交通: 全程空調大巴車。去程福田口岸集合上車出發, 回程深圳灣口岸落車解散
⚫ 參加者需持有有效旅遊證件,例如港澳居民來往內地通行證過海關。
⚫ 住宿雙人房 -佛山源林酒店, 假如更改單人房, 需要補價錢 HKD $300元 /每位 。
⚫ 用膳包第一天午餐, 晚餐,第二天早餐,午餐)
⚫ 參觀景區及博物館包入場費
⚫ 團員於出發前因任何事故而取消，按自動放棄處理，團費恕不發還

Applications will be accepted on a first come first served basis – HKIWSS member and supporting orgranizations’ members have higher priority. Please reply at 12:00 p.m. on or before the closing date 22 October, 2025 (Wednesday). Successful applicants will be confirmed by WhatsApp or email on or before 24 October, 2025 (Friday) and the accepted applicants should pay related fee to confirm the seat on or before 28 October (Tuesday), 2025.

CPD Certificate will be provided after the completion of the workshop via WhatsApp or email, receipt of payment is also attached.
Note for Registration:
1. Duly completed application form accompanied by payment receipt (mark with the applicant’s name if applicable) together with the copy of membership card, email to info@hkiwss.org / WhatsApp
2. Registration fee is non-refundable, non-transferable.
3. An official receipt will be distributed to the registrant only upon payment via email.
4. Unsuccessful applicants will be given refund of registration fee even they have already paid.
5. The event will be cancelled when the typhoon signal No. 8 or above, or black storm warning is hoisted 3 hours before the seminar commences.
6. Information provided will be kept strictly confidential and will not be sold, reused, rented, loaned, or disclosed to third party.
